Field Engineer 101: Fundamentals

Designed with you in mind, the Field Engineer 101 school helps new engineers develop foundational knowledge to support the success of Kiewit. Divided into three parts (called Journeys) over your first five months at Kiewit, this school uses these virtual learning Journeys to help you learn Kiewit fundamentals and connect with other engineers across North America. These Journeys are learner-driven; be sure to access each of the following sections sequentially to complete this school's content as designed.Overall, the goal is to provide you with a high-quality learning experience that will help you grow in your role at Kiewit. The first part of this school is the Field Engineer 101: Fundamentals Journey, which covers six subject areas that every engineer needs to know, regardless of their role. These areas include the six mindsets that drive Kiewit's culture, safety tools and processes, construction documents, field communication, written communication, and time management.
